I saw this a while ago and it’s only just popped up again amongst the designy goodness that I’ve been looking at. Following the principles of Helvetica are a set of icons for various things. You can buy a set of these beauties or you can download goodies like desktop wallpapers, folder icons and social icons too. I like the design of the site mostly. I’ve noticed a lot recently how designers have simulated the analogue on screen. The same goes for the guidelines around these icons, you may need lines like that when drawing a typeface on paper but you can easily remove those guides when creating something on screen, it’s as though we are still nostalgic about the drawing and production process of actual stuff.
