I use Google reader to keep track of blogs which are being updated, just to keep up with current design news and hear about what others are up to. The thing is, I follow 274 different blogs and they have been added to my list over the last 2 years. Google reader tells me daily that I have 1000+ posts which are unread. This may well be what you call information overload, or bad organisation (too many blogs to read and not sorting through the list regularly), or I’m just not reading them.
WRITE LIKE NO ONE IS READING
So, when I read Ben’s post on NoisyDecentGraphics saying that no one is reading anymore. Well, I think he is kind of right, and although I’d love for someone to prove me wrong I’m going to take his advice and write like no-one is reading, I’m hoping that this will lead to a better quality of writing and content as I’m not afraid of what others will think.
